8:00 – 9:00 AM | Check-In & Resource Fair
Kick off your day by checking in, grabbing your materials, and exploring campus resources
that will help you succeed.
9:00 – 9:20 AM | Welcome to UAFS!
Join us for a warm UAFS welcome as we celebrate the start of your Lion journey.
9:30 – 10:00 AM | Academic College Sessions
Meet your academic college, connect with faculty and staff, and learn what to expect
in your program.
10:10 – 11:00 AM | Student Session: Technology at UAFS
Get hands-on guidance for accessing your student accounts, email, and other essential
UAFS tech tools.
11:15 AM – 12:00 PM | Family & Guest Session
Families and guests can attend this session to learn how to support their student’s
transition to UAFS.
11:15 AM – 12:00 PM | Choose Your Own Adventure
Students can select from a variety of breakout sessions focused on involvement, campus
life, and success strategies.
12:20 – 1:20 PM | Road to Success Lunch
Join us for lunch as we share strategies and resources to help you thrive—academically,
socially, and personally—at UAFS.

- Your phone: We have so many resources you can access from your mobile device, including your mobile ID and payment access.
- A Water Bottle: Stay hydrated throughout the day while you’re on the go!
- Comfortable Shoes: You’ll be walking around campus and participating in various activities, so wear something comfy!
Log in to your UAFS application portal account to register for Lion Launch.
You do not need to pay for your classes at Lion Launch. There are established payment deadlines that you will have to meet prior to classes. Visit our Cashier's page to learn more about deadlines and our convenient payment plans.
Yes! You’ll use your UAFS username and password during Lion Launch to log in to important campus systems like your student portal, email, and other technology tools.
If you haven’t set up your account yet, be sure to do that before attending Lion Launch. Need help? Visit my.uafs.edu or contact the UAFS IT Help Desk for support.
Bringing your login info will help you fully participate in sessions and make sure you're ready to hit the ground running this semester.
Lion Launch will be held on the UAFS campus in Fort Smith, Arkansas. Your day will begin with check-in at the Smith-Pendergraft Campus Center (CC)—look for signs and friendly staff ready to welcome you! Please consult the campus map. Throughout the day, you’ll explore different locations across campus. Don’t worry—we’ll guide you every step of the way! You’ll receive a printed schedule and campus map at check-in to help you navigate the day with ease.

There will be a dedicated Family & Guest Session where your loved ones can:
